white river
« on: August 03, 2016, 06:32:57 AM »
Anybody been up there scouting? Checked the trail cameras over the weekend and one had pics of 5 or 6 different bulls and the other was not working right so zero pics. Also had cougar, bear, deer and coyotes on it. Hoping to make it back up sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Put almost 8 miles on my new boots Saturday. I have one camera on a trail. In 12 days it took pictures 8 of those days with no attractant. I think I found a good travel route because they are heading up and down the trail in the daylight and in the dark. Couple bulls and lots of cows. I will be back Saturday morning to check my cam and pick the area apart for the day. I think Saturday will be a 12 plus miler for sure.

I doubt it will be open.  Ive heard one group wants it open, and the other doesn't (forest service vs whoever is supposed to fix it).  I hiked it last week.  I have the Whiteriver tag as well.

I've gone for the archery white river tag ever since i started west side.  I would go strait to the 653/346 border all the way to the park boundary. I want that tag so bad!!!
