Have lots of fond memories as a kid fishing up there when it was really killer (died off for a while and just haven't been back)
Good luck on the boat!

Ask away man, I went there a couple times every year, I will help as much as I can, if your looking for fun, take a trout rod and a couple small silver darts and cast for salmon out in front of the kelp beds, it's a blast, sekiu kinda sucks for bottom fish cause the limits are terrible, run up to neah bay and get your lings and sea bass, a little 1/8 feather jig for sea bass cast in to the kelp, just have extra gear man
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

Mooch cut plugs in front of the caves just west of Clallam Bay at first light then troll a hoochie tipped with a herring fillet behind a hotspot flasher out from the kelp beds between Slip Point and Pillar Point. Those were always my favorites when I used to make without there years ago. Haven't heard many good reports from there this year but you never know until you go! Good luck! Enjoy!

The Kings are there they just showed up 3 days after I left. Troll cut plug or green and white coho killer with red eye.

Heading home. Learned it is hard to run a down rigger alone LOL. Only a 18 inch and 20 incher. Tough fishing. Thanks for the help. Rick
