Who makes a fitted ankle holster?
« on: October 02, 2016, 09:39:25 AM »
I am looking for a nice fitted leather holster.  I have a small revolver I carry..S&W M&P Bodyguard .38
The barrel is a smidge longer than most snub-nosed and the laser is an issue for "standard" holsters.

it fits in a pocket, but I'd prefer to use an ankle holster.  My line of work doesn't lend well to a waist band holster.  Unfortunately most i have found are generic and hold the weapon loosely.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

I have used a couple. Blackhawks was a the most comfortable and gave a sense of stability with the above the calf strap. Unkle Mikes was another with above the calf strap but the holster was generic and did not fit securely. None of the ones without a above the calf strap gave confidence they would stay in place under normal movement.

PS: Ankle carry is not very comfortable. I would use two concealed carry options before using ankle again.

Have you done anything on this?
