fiber optic size
« on: September 04, 2016, 01:13:56 PM »
I would like to replace the red fiber optic in my Williams front sight with a green one. The fiber I have is 0.040 and appears to be to small. (i spent a lot of time searching the web for this information) any idea what size it might be? Possibly 0.060

Thanks
Terry

I believe the optic in a Williams is a .060.  I have both and the .040 is definitely smaller...

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

Thanks again Sabotloader.
Any idea where I can buy a piece? Mail order shipping is nearly twice the cost of the fiber itself.

No I am not sure where you might - think I would check the archery stores - they probably have the best chance of having some.  All I have is red..

Thanks for the replies. I found a piece. I have a 5.5" stick of 0.040 green if anyone would like it.
