Imo, the Wdfw could learn a lot from how the colville tribe manages their wildlife. Colville and Spokane tribes have very strict management of wildlife and hunting.

so what could wdfw learn from them? Im pretty sure they already know that if you limit the population hunting an area you will end up with plentiful animals. so unless wdfw plans on removing a few million of us out of wa then our limited public lands cant get much better.

funny Ive seen more bears, coyotes and cougars driving through the res then anywhere else in the state, they must manage them to stay on the highway pretty well. trust me I don't agree with much wdfw does but when a handful of people have some of the best land in our state it makes it look real well managed very easily. hancock kapowsin land is also very well managed if your into looking at elk you cant hunt

You're essentially saying that all the Bulls killed in Oregon and WA since September 1st are all killed out of season. This makes literally no sense. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion I guess, but try and keep it logical.

Washington archery opened September 10 for everyone unless you drew a special tag. Right? So yes September 1st is out of season.

One of the guys pictured is my cousin and he's about as legit as a hunter as they come, the real deal. His dad has also killed some monsters over the years.

This elk was killed on the reservation during their archery season and the colville archery elk season runs pretty consistent with most of the western states as far as archery elk hunting goes.

Sovereign nation's have their own laws just like different states have their own laws. It was shot in season and some folks are just jealous. Usually the same folks who don't even get out of the rig in the mountains and throw garbage out the window while they rant about how it's someone else's fault they don't have what they want...   I don't get it when I hear this.

I am jealous. I have to follow *censored* laws for hunting cause I'm white. I am just one of the few that has the guts to say anything. I'm sure he is an awesome hunter, never said he was not. I don't know any of the native rules but I do know that when I am hunting in an area with a bow, and native are driving around shooting bulls with a rifle how is that fair?

The Colvilles are different than the Yakamas and whatever tribal members from Idaho are riding around the Blues in  December shooting elk on the winter range. The Colvilles manage their wildlife and their hunting for the good. Don't lump them all into the same basket. It makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about. It's got nothing to do with what you have the guts to say.

I was just generalizing like you were doing. You might be the guy who hikes 15 miles a day and just haven't gotten lucky yet. That's me every time I go out hunting elk. I hike all day and some guy by the road jumps out and shoots an elk. Luckily I've managed to harvest several cows during REGULAR season and that sits fine with me. If you just want a big elk rack call a fenced ranch and shoot a freak with triple royals and post it on here.
