Any one now how I replace the cooling fan on my 99 Polaris sportsman 500. The fan blade fell off while scouting for elk and over heated on me

I went to that web site and nobody said if I had to pull the fronted apart or not to replace it
I got the the motor and bracket out but pretty sure it won't go back in with fan on it. And no room to do it
