Older powder

I have some 777 that is about 4-5 years old. It is still in the can. Is it still good or should I replace it?

I would shoot it for practice and if it works just keep shooting it. If it seems erratic of slow to fire just fertilize the garden with it. Primers are also something to consider, I have had more problems with old primers than old powder.

If the lids have been on tight and the powder stored correctly - no problem.  My current jug is dated 2011.
