Getting skunked in Bumping and Bethel

Been here three days and i have seen a grand total if one elk, a beautiful 3x that kept me company for a while in the vicinity of meeks table. Have not Heard a single bugle or seen much sign at all. Anyone having better Luck? Thinking about going to the rimrock side for the rest of the week. 1502 is closed and makes for some very quiet hunting; but no animals and no sign Anywhere!

got mine in Bumping... and seen lots more.... not much up high... but lots of bugling and elk down closer to the river

Was up there the weekend of the 24th seen 6 decent bulls and a buddy got a nice 6x6 . We weren't very high ,
