Welcome to the forum and thank you for being a Marine and serving our nation. I'm in another part of the state, but I have no doubt someone will step up with some answers for you. Good luck in the woods this year!

Semper Fi, Austin. I tried to get stationed at Bangor in 1972. Welcome to Washington. If you want some local knowledge I would be happy to take you out for a recon prior to the season starting. Send me a pm for more information.

6020 is a tough area for access, and if you can get access the firearm and discharge regs make it tough to use anything but a bow/crossbow.
There's quite the variety from 624 to 621, are you more interested in close to the road and town...or way back in on mountain tops?

For deer I don't usually decide where to go until a few days before the season opens.  If weather is nasty I like to go to 624 or some of the low stuff in 621.  If it will be a little dry/sunny probably either go to the hills in 621 or hike back in and go high.
