Noticed that up at Tunkwa.  Took a couple on a huge scud like pattern I can't remember the name of it. I did the  best with large leech pattern.  Of course seeing the size of the real leeches swimming in the lake will make a believer out of you.   I think in the weeds I used a sedge pattern.

I used to go up and fish Sheridan every summer

the black and maroon micro leeches always were my go to fly
