Archery late season.

Got a question regarding late season archery elk hunt.  I was wondering what  elevation should I focus on scouting for elk at?  Anything over 5000ft or stay below that?

This is my first time ever hunting an I do solo hunts.   So I'll be out scouting an doing my part. Just wanted to no what you guys would recommend.

There will usually be snow up that high.  If it isn't to deep they can stay around. They will most likely be in a different area than right now.  I have found that they go back to feeding and are usually more prone to the hour before dark and hour after light from being kicked during all the other seasons. I usually find that cows are grouped up with cows and bulls are more resting/hiding.

Curious as to the same. This is my first time elk hunting the late archery. Gonna be on the westside myself

I'll being hunting the Eastside.       
Will they stick closer to thicker cover that period of time?  Or would they still come out were u might be able to glass them up?

I hunted 328 early season an was able to get on some everyday.   But never sealed the deal.   So I was thinking to maybe go to 335 just cuz there's a lot more cover..   I have a feeling with 328 the elk there been pushed around a lot. So I figured to maybe leave that place alone an look some place else

What's too deep? 1-3' of snow? I hunted Little Naches last winter and we saw fresh tracks and a few cows at 4000' but road hunters gave us our run for the money. #hateroadhunters
