As the dragon and the Warriors exchanged war cries it became evident that this battle was to the death. As 1 warrior set out alone ahead of the other warrior in an effort to lay a trap for the incoming dragon there were many thoughts and mixed emotions running through the head.

As the warrior put the thoughts to the back of his head he got into position and ready to attack. He unsheathed his weapon of choice and waited...

And waited some more...........

It became quiet again. He began to wonder if the dragon was attempting to sneak in quietly undetected or if he had utilized his natural camouflage and snuck by the warrior.......

The things that go through a mind when things don't quite go as planned....

Brutal, just brutal....

What had gone wrong, what had occurred that may or may not have led the dragon astray...

As no sign of the Dragon presented itself whether a sound, smell or sight after many many ticks of the sundial a decision was made. The Warriors converged on the path and slowly made their way back in the direction from whence they came...

Greatly puzzled, as the cries to battle were clear and apparent. There was no wind, there was plenty of cover and yet, no dragon, no battle...

Along the beaten path they decided to head down ward into the dragons lair once again and make a stand.  As they proceeded into the darkness, the abyss it was apparent that dragons not only called this home but thrived. Flaunted and flirted their dominance in this area.

They hunkered down and waited...

Waited...

And waited some more for signs of life...

Alas!!! a dragon had announced his presence! He laid claim to this dark and gloomy kingdom.  And so it B-E-G-A-N, again...

The Warriors began their battle cries and war screams. They began their slow pursuit of the Dragon. They are their presence and intent clear.

As light faded to dark faster and faster it became very apparent time was not on their side.

Well done, good sir!!

I'm glad it went this way also, as I thought we were going to end up having to wait for the wait.

The Warriors time had run its course...The Dragon that sounded the alarm had sunk into the abyss as peasants from another village had  B-E-G-A-N their feeble attempts at a battle cry and war scream...

Utterly pitiful, the sounds that rang true were no more as these peasants mocked the sounds of battle...The Warriors retreated back to their chariot without facing a dragon this day. The battle to the deaths had been avoided by those who had no sense of honor, no sense of duty, no sense of pride in letting another do what his father father before him had done...

The long chariot ride back to camp was fine as a feast among the other tribesmen that arrived commenced.

The next trip came on the heels of 2 mature dragons being slain. As the 2 warriors had decided to change locations and make an attempt to draw out a different flock of dragons.  As the 2 warriors set out on their long journey they noticed other warriors along the way still lying in their encampments.  They had traveled over rock and trees as they emerged at the peak of high mts overlooking the villages below.

They had emerged amongst the clouds and watched as dragons had done battle and set a part of the forest on fire. They eventually reached their destination and set off to find a dragon.

they looked, smelled and let out battle cries all day without a call to arms...As the day progressed the weather set in. Wind, wind from the heavens had began to pound and plow it's way through the dark forest. As light started to turn to darkness it became apparent yet again that no matter what they done that day there would be no battle.

As they descended the heavens they came across a smaller serpent with large horns for his size. This serpent, a cousin of dragons had not flinched nor shown a sign of fear as the Warriors unsheathed their weapon. This little serpent mocked and flaunted without care as the Warriors crept closer and closer.

As the serpent lowered his head and began to feed on the lush food at his hooves and the warrior struck with deadly accuracy. The serpent fell, fell and realized he did not possess the power he thought he had and was unable to withstand the deadly, lethal striking power of this warrior.

Both warriors celebrated and made it to their chariot and began the long ride back to the encampment with a small victory this day. This battle had shown that the blacksmiths creation was true. It has been battle tested and confidence has risen.

Upon arrival back at camp the fellow clans men all shared in the victory and had good words for the 2 warriors who are victorious this day, though not the battle they set out to win.

The next trip had commenced as the previous but this time they had assistance from another  seasoned warrior who has slain an assortment of wild beasts. The shaman, the medicine man of Clan Get Sum.

This day came on the heels of 2 other warriors who had slain 2 large mature fire breathing dragons.

As they set out on they're quest they had high hopes that today would be the day for battle...

As the Warriors traveled to this new forest it came at a toll. The chariot was well equipped for any situation but the roads though these lands was nearly impassible.

It was as if the forest itself set it's sights on the Warriors and aimed to halt their quest. Through this new land there was yet again very very minimal encampments/warriors and even less out amongst the woods searching for a battle.

The Warriors had attempted numerous areas to draw out a dragon by letting out big, loud and dominant war screams but the land and even the weather set itself against them.

Winds from the heavens and moved in once again and we're swirling with the intent of causing irreparable damage to this quest.  Undeterred,  they pressed on.

The days journey was not without loss as stories of past battles were shared, past stories of adventure in foreign lands and skills of manhood covered in manliness.

They came upon a warrior who had become lost in the abyss and was unable to locate his fellow traveler and steed. They loaded him up in their chariot and set to find his companion.

As the companion was located it was with great cheer as that warrior had slain a young dragon who was climbing the ranks of dragons as a young soon to be champion. He carried a head full of points totaling 4 on each side.

He explained that there was another dragon in the area that was displaying his dominance and letting out war screams. The Warriors pressed forward and devised a plan.

They traversed into the abyss letting go out battle cries! Once again, a response! A war scream, a battle cry! Nerves were steadied as weapons were drawn they pressed forward ready.

Heavens winds continued and just as a dragon was sighted it was but a glimpse...

After tracking get and tracking in an attempt to locate the dragon it became apparent such was not so...to the chariot they went.

Alas, the shaman exclaimed he had located a dragon on the other side of the abyss. The 3 warriors traversed and located a fresh dragon path.
