Upper Smith Creek Cow
« on: June 12, 2016, 10:55:23 AM »
Hey fellers, I was one of the 4 to draw upper Smith crk cow for archery. If anyone else has this tag, or one of the bull tags let me know any maybe we can get down for some scouting. I've already begun digging through maps and searching other info, but more input is always appreciated from those with insider knowledge from locals or past hunters! This will be a backup if I can't get it done during early season, and I am aware of the physical side attached to the hunt. But it just seems like fun!

Thanks and good luck!
Rian

Shootnrun, hope you had some luck in there... way down deap in there  :chuckle:  Any pics?

I haven't been in for 45 days or so.  They move much on you from scout to actual hunt ?   Have rifle cow and headed out on the tail end of our storm Sunday.  Going to hit ape canyon side ... liked the way the ridges looked.  Brother is there with me to help pack mule it out.  (Wooltie ty for the pm'ing)
