I went out yesterday and did a little scouting before the last weekend of MF. I'm glad I did because I saw some pretty decent, recent, and big rubs. I usually sit out on clearcuts but I decided I would try to go into timber. Way more sign in timber and in fact I went out today, went to the area with rubs and saw 1 doe cross in front of me and a decent spike cross behind me. I would've shot the spike but he got spooked to quick for me to get the rifle ready. All in all i'm just happy that I saw my first blacktail buck this year. Let me know what you guys think of these rubs. Hoping to get one down this weekend!
