Any recs on pheasant farms/preserve hunts?
« on: October 21, 2016, 08:11:58 PM »
Greetings all.  I'm a deer/bear hunter who just started pheasant hunting while I was stationed in Rhode Island recently.  Now that I'm back in Wa, I'm wondering if there are good places to go do 1/2 day pheasant hunts.  I don't yet have a dog so looking for a guide/dog type of place.  I live in Kitsap county.  Mostly wondering about preserves or farms who are recommended.  Thanks!!

I have heard good things about cook canyon. Wish I had a regular work schedule, I have two dogs and would be more then happy to guide you at a place like cook canyon.

Cook canyon runs a good set up. They have guides and dogs and are reasonably  priced. You have to be a member to use your own dogs.
I'm your dam tour guide Arnie please don’t wonder off the dam tour.
Take as many dam pictures as you want ....
Are there any dam questions ..

Reds Fly Shop in Ellensburg. Great folks. You could do a cast and blast or warm up on their sporting clays course before your hunt.

Long haul from kitsap, but I hear good things about Double Barrel Ranch south of Spokane

I went with a few buddy's to Cooke Canyon. Great hunt. Great people, awesome  dogs. And we tore it up on pheasants and chukers. Not one bird got away. That was earlier this year.  Can't wait to go back. It was a blast and I'm hooked. Reasonably priced. And good facilities.
