thankful to get out in the field, but lots of hunters and birds running crazy! managed to drop one for the pup!

It was scary how many people were hunting where we hunted. 3 groups hiked in behind us. We came out of some brush and were face to face to some guys shooting. Not safe for us or the dog, we had to get out of there. I foolishly thought it would be like big game hunting, if a truck is already there you move on to a different spot.

Were these crowds on the westside or eastside? Release sites or a general area? Want to avoid getting blasted.

ahh yeah. . eastside for me anyways. . people everywhere and birds running crazy. . but we marched out opposite direction everyone else did! waiting for to calm down and head back out!! Thanks!

East side for us as well. Not a release site but it was feel free to hunt land.

Thanks. Sucks, walking in on other guys with dogs on the ground (or just on their own) is the equivalent of low holing someone on a steelhead run.

When people see another truck they should move on to another spot out of safety and ethics.
