Awesome! Did 3 weeks down in the Patagonia region there last year starting he day after Thanksgiving. Would love to go back again, so much moe to do and see

Just curious, do you have a connection to the Antarctic Program? Cool reference to Punta Arenas, I know a bunch who have gone south with the polar research groups. Your trip sounds awesome, anxious to follow along vicariously.

Made it aguas calientes and spent 3 days. Hot springs, thanksgiving feast and Machu Picchu. Climbed Machu Picchu mountain and finally headed back to Cusco today.
