The rut is on at Work
« on: October 27, 2016, 03:55:09 PM »
We've got a decent little population of Blacktail at work. occasionally they're hit by cars but for the most part I'm assuming die of old age.  It's always a treat to see them when i'm coming and going. Today I was lucky to catch a pretty good buck dogging a doe. Watched him for about 10 minutes. He seemed very inent on not leaving her side. They've been rubbing the little trees along our road pretty good in a few spots too. Now if only I could convince management to allow a depredation hunt to save the little trees!   I wish the video was better but I was 100+ yards out with only my iPhone and in my excitement I forgot to lock in the focus while I recorded.  :sry:

I half expected an HR story.

As long as the deer are from a protected class or openly and enthusiastically celebrate diversity they should have a great carreer at the Boeing company.

Apparently I should have just said "work" instead of Boeing. This thread is about deer. Nothing else.  :yeah:
