Need a guide (ducks/geese)
« on: November 08, 2016, 08:08:47 PM »
Looking for a guide... most likely will have up to 6 or even 8 hunters. Skagit or a Grant Counties in WA (other area/states not out of the question). Will likely need lodging, meals and transport. Recommendations anyone?

Thank you in advance.

Erik

I know this seems "elitist" but it doesn't look like they include lodging and food. Need all inclusive for all intents and purposes. Thoughts?

Eagle Lakes would be your best bet to fit what your looking for. Won't be cheap but you won't be disappointed either. I guided for him for 6 years and still help on occasion. He's running a special right now to fill some spots that were cancelled.

don't hate the player---hate the game.  Adapt or die...you know at one point people only used spears to hunt-then got pissed when archers showed up who then got pissed at gunpowder who then got pissed at cartridges who then got pissed at repeaters who then got pissed at scopes and so on and so on and so on....the only thing constant in this world is change...sitting back and stomping your feet while hollering it was better before so and so only puts you further behind the eight ball...it will NEVER go back ...do i think the direction it is going is better---NO...but i'm smart enough to evolve and change to keep doing the things i love to do
beer---it's whats for dinner

I still hunt waterfowl a ton. I have adapted as well just hate what it has become. I don't hate know where to hunt, I'm sure he is a smart young guy jumping on the opportunity of the evolution of waterfowl hunting with the pay to play. I just will never support something like that. I urge others to not support it either. You are right you cannot stop it. Too many people who don't have the time to scout but the money to pay someone who does.
