Can somebody score this BT rack?
« on: November 12, 2016, 10:20:14 PM »
I was out scouting new areas yesterday, looking for the promised land.  I'd heard rumors there were some good bucks near the area I was searching located somewhere in the Puget lowlands.  I was in the midst of making a hasty turnaround and pulled into a random driveway, and while waiting for traffic to pass, I saw this monster rack hung on the driveway gate out of my rear view mirror.

The owner of the property appeared out of nowhere, obviously unhappy with me lingering in his driveway.  I just said hello and asked if the rack was indeed a BT.  He confirmed that it was, and when questioned further, stated that he had harvested the deer right there on his property and indicated there were a couple more similar bucks just up the road from his place.  :yike:   I hurried off faster than I should have, just to get out of his driveway and out of the way of traffic.  In hindsight, I should have asked for access.  :bash:

Anyway, I think I found the area I was looking for.   :)

Can anybody hazard a reasonable guess on a score for this rack?  I believe the No Trespassing sign is 9X12, and I'm guessing the boards on the fence are 5 inches.   The left side G-4 seems to be borken off, but appears that it may have been forked, but I may be wrong on this.
