Reloading questions - Trimming

Is trimming 9mm brass necessary? Does anyone measure the case length? Do you measure all or just a sample if you do? Seeing what the general consensus is here. I'm about to reload some twice fired 9mm brass and didn't trim the first time around reloading.

I never trim or measure 9 mm brass. No need whatsoever and I couldn't imagine sitting down to trim 1,000 pieces.

If your 9's are getting to long to operate leave them lay and pick up the guys brass that's blasting away with factory ammo he just bought.

You don't need to trim 9mm. I shoot my brass until it fails, usually from a split in the case mouth. You may want to case gauge the rounds using your chamber when reliability is important.
