Anyone see the video of a elk herd crossing the yakima river?
« on: November 19, 2016, 07:41:16 PM »
A friend showed me this. Looks like a herd crossing the river. But in the article it talks about they do this every year when the snow hits hard.. only problem the snow hasn't hit hard yet.. my buddy says they are actually being pushed by helicopters..
Anyone know anything?
If its brown knock it down

Saw it about 20 different places on FB, had a number of people who know I hunt ask me if I saw it.  I think Sasquatch chasing them is about as likely as helicopters.

Ya I seen the video. I think they were doing there normal winter routine. Weren't getting pushed into an area by people. The video had sound and I didn't hear helicopters in the background.

Saw it several times on Facebook. Cool video to see but just normal routine for those elk. Had nothing to do with any snow, that's for sure.

There's a herd that lives there. They cross the river year round.

I saw it on his phone and had no sound.. Glad that's just the normal routine.. seemed like they were coming off the Springwood ranch and crossing  10 ?

I believe that's the herd that hangs out on the springwood ranch, it looked like they were heading in the wrong direction for a migration.

It's not, just the lady who took the video is obviously not a hunter and in her Facebook post she stated that it was "the migration."
