Well, it does. I'm just curious of the places that people hunt near there. It's such an urban area, but I've heard there are huntable spots. I got that one an hour and a half away, out of pure luck. I was on my way home from tutoring at a tech school in olyimpia. I just stopped for a "look" because there was maybe 15 trucks parked there, and there he was. Curious as to where our locals hunt other than the few areas that I know of.
I know that spot!

RE: Gig Harbor:  Any 5 -10 acre timberland or mixed vegetation (epecially with old apple trees) with timber closeby in/around the Gig Harbor area probably holds, or has plenty of deer using it.  You may not be able to hunt in the city limits, but outside of that, it should all be fair game.  It is all private land (I believe) so you need to get land owner permission, but there's quite a lot of these type of parcels both north toward Port Orchard and west towards Belfair.    Check the firearm restrictions too.  A tree stand or a blind is a great way to go for small woodlots.  A trail cam in the off season should tell you the best place for your stands.
