Haven't hunted upload birds in 30 years. Was thinking of heading down the snake out of clarkston in the boat and hiking some draws. Thoughts? Any local preserves? No dog.

Huns and chukar appear to be better than average this year in the areas I've been. I saw a few pheasants even.

I'll be hunting the snake outta Clarkston/Lewiston. Might head up to Colfax for some Roosters.
