Also adding the exhaust brake makes EVERYTHING last longer. 2c

I found several trucks I wanted.  I called and then drove 2 hours to Portland to possibly buy a 6 speed.  When I got there it was sold.  Tough to find a good 6sp cummins any year.

 :) I do not know the year but a Dodge 2500 diesel stickshift truck. Friend of mine, two times towing a horse trailer, either the transmission or rear end locked up, broke the drive shaft, transmission case, stuck on the highway. I was thinking like 2006, did they make them then?

I have a 07 5.9l Megacab and after the second rebuild went south I bought a brand new transmission so I could get the better warranty.
