"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

I don't think I would eat the thing.......so I voted NO. I had whale in Iceland many years ago and can't say that I liked it.

For starters, I'd be worried about catching the disease. Second, it would be enough to feed a community and I just don't know enough people that would eat it for sure, without wasting some. Last, you'd need to be equipped, which I'm not, I don't own a browing .50 cal...  ;)

Never tried eating it before, but going by the reactions of the tribe several years ago I would say it tastes like *censored*e. One vote for no here.

Actually the Coast Guard allowed the whale to sink.

That being said, hell yea I would hunt one. I watched (live) the first hunt and thought how cool it would be to be towed around by that whale and how few people could say they hunted whales.

My only question is "who is going to gut it"?

NO, I've eaten whale and I can say this. It's an acquired taste.

I said yes.  My ancestors did it, so I feel the need to fulfil "my right."   :)
