Another nice surprise from this morning. Sorry Bruce nothing in yours yet and as cold as it is I was very surprised to catch this one.
whats the best way to catch Badgers? Always wanted one.
Boar looking for Sow to hunt with. LOL

Oh man !!!! What kind of set and info on how you did your set would be much appreciated

I am no expert but I think in order to have any success with badgers you have to be prepared for the long game. Because of this I set as many traps as I can over the largest area I can. What works best for me to "long line" and not get too far off the road. I made some traps that allow me to hide traps in plain sight. I collect used bedding from my rabbit cages or mouse nests from the wood pile for bait. Just the bedding/nest seems to be enough for them to commit.

Not a lot of trapping going on with everything frozen over. I'm anxious to get to work on Badger and Beaver but right now getting out of the driveway is challenging. Been putting up a good amount of coyotes though.

I guess I should add the right picture.

Just as soon as some of this snow is gone and the Coyote hunting derby is over I plan on hitting Badger hard.
