Simple and ingenious repeating trap door.  These guys have some pretty good videos.

So here is the problem with a multi catch trap on anything but small animals. The size of the trap and the resulting multi coon catch makes it all very heavy and unwieldy especially for WCO work.
IMO you are better to set several traps if you are going for multi catch at one location.

The guy does have and innovative door design though.

I've been thinking of building one of those. It does look heavy but I bet it's lighter than 5 or 6 coon traps. Could make it so it breaks down. Then when you get to the spot bolt it together with wing nuts

I had a multi catch raccoon trap and I ended up cutting up.

I guess I'm just young and ......well full of energy but packing a few coons sounds a lot better than packing a bunch of traps to and from. But for the record all my trapping areas are pack in only

Bruce is right.  That multi trap he is talking about here was mine.  I put it in the auction because for the same.  It worked but when you have a family of raccoons in it or lets say five young that weigh ten pounds a piece and one adult that weights twenty pounds and they are bouncing around and fighting while your trying to drag them over to your truck to pick up ...... ..... Ya that is why you don't want one.  And than you get them to the truck now you have to deal with 5 or 6 live ones in one cage.  I wouldn't build or buy another one.

I think Bruce bought it just for the nice wire and 1/4 rod frame.

As others said, for WCO work, just setting 3 or 4 regular traps is definitely a much better way to go...

Desiging a collapsible model (as Jasnt suggested) to pack in long distances for fur trapping... that might be useful

Ya I think that's a big difference. I don't do wco work, I trap way out in the boonies so I would just dispatch them right there. I can only imagine what it's like packing a family of coons alive

I just thought it was a neat door.  No telling what might start a debate around here. 

As for WCO/ADC work, I bet that trap would work great for feral cats.
