Had to drive up there for work on Wednesday. Wasn't overly impressed. Seemed to be a few more birds around, but nothing to get me excited. Of course, a lot has likely changed in the 48+ hours since.

Was just up in Brewster driving through for work. From what I could see from the highway it looked like it would be worth a try. The channel behind Washburn island is open water still looked like a good spot to try. I have never hunted up there but with this freeze I'm seriously considering the drive.

I have a friend to lives very close to Brewster. I would love to drive up to stay with him and hunt with someone one day this season. Please send me a PM to set something up if you are willing.
