Some cam critters
« on: January 24, 2017, 05:51:37 PM »
Had the day off today and figured that since I knew my cam batteries were probably dead it was time to head up and pull it and take a look at some pics. Dates are correct and batteries died in November so nothing of course after. Had a cool series of a singe spike buck sparring with a two point, a bob, some yotes, one funky antlered deer and just one glimpse of a real dandy. Plenty of bears being silly of course and the flamingos have a few extra holes in them.

Thanks...I wish I had more life in the batteries and a few more pics of that buck with his head down, lower right in the picture. He looks like a pretty decent buck. That two point looks like he has a few years on him as well.

Cool! Looks like you've had the cam there for a while. Were those the only pics you got or just the highlights?

Just highlights. Near as I can tell, 4 different bears, one spike, a 2x2, the funky racked buck, and the nice one that I only have one pic of. I have pics with the two point and funky in velvet which are cool. A bob, some yotes, a momma doe with two spotted fawns. Yes...I've had the cam in this spot for a few years.
