Fishing for my Nephew near Poulsbo
« on: December 29, 2016, 11:59:47 AM »
As the topic says, I am looking for a decent spot to take my 8 year old Nephew fishing. I live in Montana but he recently moved to Poulsbo with his Grandparents. Any ideas on where to go? Thinking perch/flounder would be fun for him. Thanks for all your help

Not much going this time of year but when summer rolls around there's lots to do. My recommendation this time of year for kids is razor clam digs on the coast.  They love it.

For flounder any time, go to Indianola peer out in between Kingston and squeamish. Chop up hearing and that works great
Lets go, we got fish to catch on the boondocks!!!

I believe Kitsap Lake is open year round. Trout & bass in there. Need a boat, noses you're content with the dock at the park.

Thanks for the suggestions- I think flounder sounds great. My boat is in Montana right now, so sick it is

Buck lake in Hansville has some linker trout in it. No internal combustion motors so it does not get hit to bad.

year round lakes in the area are kitsap and island lake both are decent in the spring. or in eastern Jefferson county there is teal and lake lealand which have docks to fish from. teal lake would be your best bet imo. pm me for more info
