fishing while staying on a boat

Anyone ever done one of those charter fishing trips in AK where you sleep on the boat and fish? You fish along pull into a cove and stay the night then hit it again the next morning. I checked into a few and only came up with one named Classic Charters. Problem is you had to have 4 guys willing to commit to it and I couldn't wrangle that many. Even tried the angle of getting on with a group that is lacking another person but no luck there.

I'm not sure if you are talking about multiple day fishing charters, or staying aboard a floating lodge style boat. I am aware of a few boats that do cruises throughout south east where fishing is done from smaller boats that cooperate from a larger boat that you stay on.

I know of.a few boats, one operates out.of.Friday Harbor, but, it's of an expedition boat, think mini cruise ship (8-10 passenger cabins) that go on expeditions up into Alaska and Canada where you sight see and fish your way north

Alternatively, up in Prince William sound there.are wanigans and that's some of.the best fishing in alaska

First class operation right here. Know the captain well, you will not find a funner group that knows how to fish, and un believable scenery. Not cheap, no mixed groups I believe, could be wrong about that though. But if an extended charter trip on a nice boat is on your list, these are your guys.

A wanigan is a floating bunkhouse, it's old logger term, I know there are places in Alaska that rent em out right by prime fishing turf
