Training Pigeons
« on: January 21, 2017, 09:39:18 AM »
With in the next 10 days or so I will be sending a truck down south to pick up training pigeons.  I personally will be picking up 200 but should have room for another 100 or so.  Cost is $7.00 each delivered to the Chehalis area and must be picked up within a day of their arrival.  Training season is upon us if interested let me know.

It takes birds to make bird dogs..200 pigeons last me about 2 months, that does not include the Homers, Chukar, Quail and Mallards we use as well.  Needless to say the gunners that shoot for us have a great time also..

If they have ducks I'd piggy back about 80 and we can work something out for gas and delivery. I'd meet at your convenience along i5 if your interested.

Colin
My crates left on Wednesday.  I was kind of shocked that no one took me up on this offer.  I will be going after Mallards in about a month if you don't get any between now and then.  At your convenience give me a call privately and we'll talk about training birds.  The number at the top of this page is wrong (I've been trying to get it changed now for a while). The number at the bottom of this is how to get a hold of me.

Have 3 feet of snow on the ground here in E WA. Would be interested in a few months once snow has melted.

When you start again I'll split whatever birds you get and bring the new pup up for some training. Picked him up Saturday and will want some bird training and a second person, you, to help work him.
