Can someone send me their e-mails? I'll school them up real quick with mil-spec and include references. I think these dumb reps/senators that never shot a gun or been in the military should not be allowed to vote on something they know squat about. I'll be pissed if any gun related bill/law passes that will effect our 2nd constitutional right.
Would anyone who is a better wordsmith than I be willing to draft a boiler-plate letter that HuntWA people could copy and send to their respective legislators regarding potential constitutional and moral issues with these bills? I've always thought that an influx of the same letter with clearly worded arguments against bills is a more convincing argument than letters that may have varying reason of why they oppose the bill. I always crack up at the Seattle protests now that have 47 things they are protesting at once...Black Lives Matter, Dakota Access Pipeline, LGBTQ rights, immigrant/illegal alien rights, etc. Focusing on one or two key issues makes for a much more persuasive argument!
These can be stopped on the floor.
I got a response from one of my reps. He's a D and doesn't support it; and doesn't expect it to pass. He said it will probably be as an initiative that they expect will pass. But we all pretty much expected that.
