Kind of nice that the early muzzleloader deer and elk seasons don't overlap like they did last year. So now you can actually go hunt deer for a week with your muzzleloader, and hunt elk the next week with your muzzleloader.

I really liked being able to hunt both at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone that way and save vacation for out of state hunts.

Yeah, it works for some but not for others. What if you wanted to hunt mule deer in the early muzzleloader season, and also wanted to hunt elk on the westside during early muzzleloader season?

You still get two days that overlap this year. The last weekend of deer season is the first weekend of elk.
