I have had (3) of them to date and they have been installed on my kicker motors..Yamaha T9.9 or T8...love them.

TR-1 is the only way to go!  My wife told me years ago that she wouldn't fish with me anymore if the boat we were in didn't have a TR-1. Cheap, they are not. But they are worth every penny if you troll a lot and take people or kids with you. I know where a real clean T9.9 and TR-1 combo is at for a few thousand $$ less than retail.
