I LOVE Seward... I spend 10-14 days out there every year with my buddy in our own boat. BUT his family owned the first charter service out of Seward years and years ago, since then they have sold and he is now a state patrol. With that said if you get of of the boats out of Seward that head all the way over to the straights around Montague you will kick butt on nice fish! Its a long run but they do it on daily trips. We take our boat clear over there even. We haul gas, 73 miles each way! But we average 40-60 lb butts with bigger ones often and most important HUGE ling! Like bigger than anything you can imagine from WA lol... Smallest last year we kept was 54 lbs biggest 70!!! Couple side notes, I really really don't like Homer, bigger butts, slower fishing, very few ling without running to areas just for them and they are very limited. If you want just butts check out Valdez. Seward is the all around fishery!

Good luck!
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

My in-laws lodge and the one that I worked at. Top notched fishing and accommodations.

Also my cousin runs a charter out of Sitka.  Ask for Jesse Graham on the FV Auk. at Big Blue Charters. The guy knows his stuff! https://www.facebook.com/Big-Blue-Charters-152902691484640/?pnref=lhc
