If you have the means to move one yourself, look for a used one. They pop up quite a bit and you can save a ton of money. The down side....you usually have to move it and they are heavy. Couple things I would reccomend;1. Buy the absolute biggest you can afford and will fit in your desired location (or buy two medium).....if it says it is a 50 gun safe, you will likely only fit 25-30 long guns before it is packed. 2. Make sure it has a good fire rating....you will find you also use it for important documents. Everyone that I know uses it for more than guns. 3. Buy the tallest model you can. Most of the cheaper / economy safes are short and barely fit long guns....never have figured out why they make safes like this. Good luck
