I had to make a few changes in the schedule because Dan Boes has to leave early. Moved him up to the morning and juggled the rest of the schedule.
Winter Rendezvous/Fur Sale Schedule, March 11
7:00 AM, Set up
8:00 AM, Doors open
There will be a $5.00 entrance fee this year that will enter you in a drawing for a door prize. Be sure and get your auction numbers when signing in.
Fur buyers will be given tables to buy fur and will operate all day. Same with NAFA pick up.
CITES tagging will take place only in the morning by Steve Brownel
9:00 AM, Otter skinning and put up demo
10:00 AM, Dan Boes, WDFW Hunters Education, shows new Trappers Ed Power Point presentation
11:00, Dispatching animals. Mark Wagoner, Sexing and cervical dislocation of marten, Gary Dahl, gassing with CO2, Chuck Van Dyke, Skunk pole injection, Bernie Nelson choke poles for bobcats
1:00 PM Lunch provided for a small charge
We will hold our membership meeting during lunch so sit down and enjoy your lunch while we talk about WSTA

Please remember to bring some good stuff you are no longer using to donate for the auction. The auctions are our main fund-raiser to keep the organization going.
5:00 PM Otter trapping with Swimthroughs (Time permitting)

6:00 PM clean up. We need to be gone by 7:00PM to avoid additional charges so clean up help is appreciated.

From I-5, north or south, take exit 104, (SR8). Follow the signs toward Aberdeen for 25.8 miles to Fairgrounds road, turn right for one half mile and turn right on Elma-McCleary road. The fairgrounds are on your right.
Bring your beaver tails and any antlers you have kicking around. They might not do you much good but we can use them to finance WSTA.
A good item donated for our auction is very much appreciated. We depend on our auctions to provide the bulk of the funds to run WSTA.
