Spot Hogg order timeline
« on: March 26, 2017, 07:14:16 AM »
I'm curious if anyone else has placed an order with Spot Hogg in the last month or so and what your turn around time has been?  I was having trouble finding the site I wanted because I'm a lefty.  I saw that ordering directly from Spot Hogg was an option so I just decided to do that instead of having my local shop order it.  I placed my order on February 21st.  Never heard anything back.  Got busy with work and life.  Realized last week I had heard nothing so I called.  Very nice person said we've been really busy should probably be this week sometime.  Well.... no sight yet.  I will say I have not been charged for the sight but at this point I'm wondering how long I want to play the - "should be this week" game or just go with a different sight.

What has been your turn around time with them?

I sent in my spot Hogg fast Eddie last month for a wheel upgrade and 3 pin housing upgrade. The day it arrived there, it was upgraded and sent back to me the same day. Excellent customer service on the phone also. That's my experience, and have only heard good things about their service.

I know they are back logged with the new sights. Heard 4 weeks from some people.

Not trying to bash them just trying to see what others are experiencing.  Their products are awesome.  I would just appreciate an honest lead time so I can plan.  Hopefully the 4 weeks is the standard and it shows this week.  If not I'm going to need to find a temporary replacement.  3D shoots are calling and I must go and get better....... hopefully

Thought I should update - new site arrived today.  So that's about 5 weeks.  They make good stuff for sure just try not to be in a rush when you decide on what to get.  Looking forward to dialing it in soon.
