Didn't take a very good photo of the car but got to take my old man's cobra out for a spin with my wife while he and grandma had their hands full with the four little ones. The car scares me but I did get it up all the way to 70 once lol

I know, I took my two oldest out for a ride too and that's the only photo I took. It drives my whole family nuts I'm terrible at remembering to take pictures, but look how nice the dash looks! And the signed glove box is one of my favorite parts.

a real cobra?

It's an original but it's not all original.ithas a new 427 in it and tranny and was repainted and generally touched up at the same time. I think it originally was a 289 or 302. Previous owner did the work and sat on it until my dad bought it with like 500 miles on the new engine.

I'm more a fan of the big boat sedans than the little fast ones, going fast scares me to be honest but that thing is pretty fun to tool around in and you can't beat the sound of it.

It’s been a long wait for the paint shop to finally get to my spot on the schedule , but the 69 finally made it into the paint shop for final body and paint on Thursday

That's awesome. Been slowly putting pieces back on mine as I took a detour and the motor has been on hold waiting on a few minor parts that seem to be made from un-obtanium. Started with wanting g to put a vinyl top back on the car and have since figure out that once a can of worms is opened it's hard to keep them in the can. Ended up with the car on a rotisserie.
