Great first birds. Most people do not like the release sites but for some it is all it takes to get them hooked on hunting. I hunted release sites for several years until I found a few places and some great company for the slower action but more enjoyable hunting on the east side. The sites are also a great place to work your dog when starting out. Good luck next season and welcome to the site

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.

Nobody that is used to hunting wild pheasants in the mid west or eastern washington really loves to hunt the release sites, but they are awsome if you cant get the time or money to drive east. They really help to keep the dogs in the game.
