Shotgun restoration question
« on: April 08, 2017, 08:32:46 AM »
I have a old fox side by side that I would like a smith with restoration experience to go over and refinish the metal and help bring it back to life. I'd like to be able to use the gun. There is some other finish on the block that's not bluing and it needs a bead and I think one of the extractors may be broken. Can some one reference someone that would do a good job in the Graham/tacoma area please? Thanks
-Matt

There is really not a good shotgun smith in the area.  This is out on a limb but Karl McKnight out of Utah might be able to fix her up.  He goes to a lot of the big Trap shoots on the west coast and has a good reputation.  It might be worth a phone call.  I believe he will be in Spokane in July for the PITA Grand
