This very boat was on the water at Neah Bay for the halibut opener. We saw him running in past Tattoosh and fishing inshore a little bit. I didn't see it in the marina though. I gotta say, it was looking sharp on the water for sure!
Fish hard, hunt harder!

Nice boat, but not for me. No walk around, only way to the bow is over the bed. Not enough fishing space at the ass end, too cluttered with all those motors. And the electronics- WOW - I wouldn't know what to do with them. I like room on a boat for people, fishing and gear. And OH MY GOD, Who's going to clean and polish all that stuff ?

Not a fan. Once you fish on a true walk around, you wouldnt fish off anything else. Being limited to half of the boat fishing 4 to 6 guys off the back is a pain, esp when you get multiple hook ups at the same time....
:yeah: The boat would be nice for cruising and crabbing but for serious fishing you will want a walk around.

Depends on the type of fishing.  In AK, you will never see a walkaround in the halibut charter fleet, they fish 6 guys off the back no problem.  Yeah, it wouldn't be the first choice for throwing bass plugs or trolling tight quarters, but I could absolutely fish the heck out of that boat.

Every boat is a compromise.

We ran 36'-42' walk arounds in Alaska for halibut and had much happier clients. 6 jammed at the stern can get to be a mess  when the action is hot.

In Sitka it has been a evolution from Parkers and Seasport to Cold Water and North River walk arounds. The big guys all run walkarounds there now including Angling Unlimited, Island View, and Alaska Premier Charters.

Yet another sign I'm old I guess, last time I went out there were only Seasports and the aluminum spine pounders.  Like many things, to each their own.  I still hold that thing is more than fishable, plus, you could easily spend several days on it in comfort.
