They'd be happy to build you one!...For a $165k! But yeah, they are stunning boats for sure!

Looks like a rig I saw at the Sportsman's show. That one had a sold sign on it. Very impressive electronics package and a ton of power.

That joystick option is really cool.

I have climbed around on that beast, beautiful, laid out super well, functional and extremely loaded.  Better jump way way way up past $165k if your thinking of getting one equipped like this..    Best built in my personal opinion and best darn customer service around.    #1 Reason why I can't bear to sell mine.  Had several full price offers, but I to pulled the plug as I couldn't part with it in the end, it is just a fishy boat!!!!  The only I will finally sell mine is if I have Grant and crew build a real similar 29ft for next year..  Of course - Minus the very sweet stuff this one has...

Not a fan. Once you fish on a true walk around, you wouldnt fish off anything else. Being limited to half of the boat fishing 4 to 6 guys off the back is a pain, esp when you get multiple hook ups at the same time....

They make the best aluminum boats in the world, no doubt. Especially their jet boats. Been doing it for over 100 years and they're right here in Seattle.

:yeah:
That would be about my only complaint is no walk around access.  Not only is it great for fighting fish but for safety and ease of docking especially in high winds or tides.  Nobody likes tending spring lines through a window.   :chuckle:  I'm not sure what the beam is on that thing but making it a true walk around would have taken a bunch of cabin space and you can only go so wide and still be able to haul over the road without a permit.

Hmm....

Are people building badder boats with constantly evolving features to compensate for the horrible fisheries we have in this state?

"Who cares if there aren't any fish, check out this boat.... Look at that accessory, do you want a margarita? It has an ice machine ya know, oh wait, it's about time for kickoff, let's fire up the flat screen and watch the game on the boat! Oh, I forgot we were fishing....'

Yup quite a rig.

If its the same one I saw in-work last time I was there - mentioned the owner had them build several boats for him.
Not one to dither over budget constraints.
Had one designed for each specific fishing environment. Rivers, duck hunting, lakes, off shore etc.

Whoever its for is spending his cash at a good company and buying something his family and friends will enjoy for a long time to come.

i've often wondered that myself.  growing up fishing steelhead in the early '90s, most boats in my memory were old clunkers, and the fishing was great.  those boats had some serious hours on them. nowadays, the rivers are loaded with $50000+ barges, and you know most of them spend more time sitting than fishing.  of course, in the old days, 90% of the boats on the river weren't guides like they are now...
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

 :yeah:
Just like in hunting, the more successful hunters and fishermen are usually the folks who don't have the "look at me" attitude or have to have the latest and greatest in gear.  The best fishermen that I know still fish with old gear and make the best out of what they have.  Several guys that I fish with have home made drift boats and can out fish any guide on the river.

Look up Blood Sport, the guy that bought it has it for sale for the bargain price of $300k.  Very nice boats no doubt if you have the cash.  I couldn't even get them to return a call or e-mail when I was looking for our new boat so we ended up with a competitor's.  They must be doing well.
