This little fellow was crowing up a storm in the backyard this evening. I assume he is ofspring from one of my melanistic escapees!

Mossback91 don't tell anyone but your gun holds too many rounds for ROOSTERS
. I counted four shots before reloading.
Great pics Bone, spring is actually going to make it. My birds a running the hens and calling almost all day now. Soon the work begins
. I have sold a bunch of mountains this year so maybe I will be able to talk myself out of raising so many.

Thanks guys. I love this time of year. My birds start calling and pretty soon I have a whole bunch of fresh faces around the place coming to see what the fuss is all about. I am hoping for some more photo ops soon. My neighbor has two Irish setters that have caused a lot of mischief on the birds and he thinks its cool, but once they are over my fence then they are safe. I left a big portion of my corn patch on it and they enjoyed that this winter. Good cover for them from the hawks too. Which also come and visit.
