The ONE that got away...

Thought I would start a thread of all the animals you caught on trail cam but then never saw again.  Heres mine. 2 years ago he came in to my buddies place only 2 times. once in the middle of the night and 1 time the day after gun season. Never saw a photo of him again and was bummed I never got a shot at him. He's a dandy Maine Whitetail

This guy was an old ID bull caught on a cam a few years ago.  I'm guessing by the looks of his antlers, this 7 point was probably on the decline.  Was never seen again on cam or while hunting.  Quite the handsome old boy.

This bull was on my trail cam during the summer a couple years ago. Borderline if he could count as a spike or not but I would've given him a serious look over if I saw him during the season. He was broke off while still in velvet.
