This is a 6x7 but he is in the $3500 range the bulls we have are the same frame just 5x5s and one 6x6 but there is 6 bulls in that range which next year they will be bigger so prices will go up but have a bunch of nice bulls next year too

I got a text on Thursday that one of the bulls had a hole in the side of his body with a possible sucking lung puncture and possibly not make it and needed someone last minute to take it and so I told him I would do it.

We got there Saturday morning which we got there around 7am and got our gear and went into the area he was at. Since he was injured he would separate himself from the herd in the thick wooded area which I had a bow and brought a rifle just in case. first we tried to push him out to the open land which we did but couldn’t get closer than 88 yards. He came out in the opening which I aimed 60 yards and hit a tree so he ran back into the thick woods and right when I got a shot opportunity but he took off. Finally after two hours I hid behind a big tree and he ran by me at 20 yards while I was at full draw and shot him behind the shoulder then he ran off to 51 yards where I was able to get another arrow to put him out for the count.

There was a point where I thought about putting the bow away and shooting this bull with a rifle because I was so frustrated but I figured I had 6 arrows so I have 6 chances of taking this bull with a bow before I brought out the rifle but glad I did because I have been dying to see what that Madman 4 blade broadhead would do and it was impressive this is my favorite broadhead so far with the Triple Sec. We also had a disabled veteran come with me and shot a hog with a bow also.
