Another victim of trail camera theft
«

Went to check my trail camera at the in-laws' place a couple weeks ago, and lo and behold, it was gone!
Actually, the camera belongs to my father-in-law and we got it for him for Christmas, but I am the one that maintains it and checks it for him. It was on private property, locked to a tree. I have never seen people trespassing on the property, though people have been known to occasionally sneak on there and duck hunt the pond on the property from time to time. The property is within the city limits of Orting, alongside the Puyallup River levee. The camera was a Browning Strikeforce, so if any of you folks that live in Orting hear of a camera showing up, kindly kick the thief in the knee-caps and tell them to give it back. The frustrating thing was that the camera has been up for the past two years without a single issue or trespasser on it, but then it goes missing two weeks after I move the camera to a slightly different location. Well, I guess now I can say I'm part of the club.

Nothing worse in my book than thieves or liars. Sorry some worthless crap monkey stole from you. I had a weiner-less low life take cards out of two of my cams in a very remote spot in ID last year. Two cams in one location; one was set for stills and the other for VID clips. Pretty sure I knew who did it but no proof.

Sucks, some people just don't get it. I had my tree stand stolen on the carbon river by orting, hope they fall out of it at 12' high!

That's how I caught my trespasser. Were you on my property? No. I have photos. No you don't. Then I showed the photos of him deleting the photos on the camera he saw. Oh yeah, what happened there was......
