I grew up in Northern Maine about 15 miles away from Mt. Katahdin. I was surprised to see this post with Katahdin because most people have never heard of it. Pretty cool. Also, never heard of Katahdin sheep, so I checked it out...

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

He acts like a puppy more than a lamb  :)

That’s what happens when you bottle feed them.  :chuckle:

I grew up in Millinocket. Baxter State Park and the Golden Road was my backyard playground. Grew up snowmobiling there, ice fishing, fly fishing in the park or on the Penobscot River, and so on. My family still lives in the region. We visit annually.

I also noticed he was trying to romp around with the brown lambs in the video. He is used to playing with my dog LOL. It was really funny to see them try to play across the species. My dog would go get his ball or his tug and offer to play and the lamb would just run and try to head butt him or try to suck his ear.

I was stationed at Loring AFB from 1981 to 1983.  Loved it up there!!
